At christmas time my partner and I headed away for a week to see my family in Warrnambool. While we where there we spent time at the beach etc but also did a nice little day trip to Cape Bridgewater which is 15 mins away from Portland in Victoria.
It was amazing and sooooo beautiful.......There was not alot around only around 20 beach houses and one Cafe. Mind you having said that this was a little destination but alot of people knew about it. The Beach was lovely and the sun was fantastic.
We had lunch at the only cafe there and I must say I was impressed that the prices where so cheap being they could have really took advantage of the fact that they where the only food place. We all had hamburgers which you will see below and man i struggled!!!!
After lunch we went for a walk and enjoyed the sun beofre heading back to Portland and having a look at a stunning old Light house. The Flies where TERRIBLE but the view was great and got some nice pics as well.
Overall the day was great and nice to relax and not to be at work!!!!
