Catching Up

Hello There,

Well after being reminded to update my blog by miss Kate I thought I would make an effort to update.

Well we have just had Easter and this year my partner and I headed down to Warrnambool my home town to enjoy the lovely long weekend.

But before we left for the drive we spent Good Friday lunch with Austin's Family which was a lovely meat free lunch as we dotn eat meat on Good Friday. Not only did we have a great lunch but we had an Easter Egg Hunt organised by Norman (Austins dad) which he says it doesnt matter how old you are Easter Egg hunts are fun.

So on our way we got to Warrnambool to spend our extra long weekend in peace a quiet. The weekend was fantastic and i caught up with so many people. Below are a few photos from our Weekend in Warrnambool.

As you can see we are a very photo genic bunch lol always looking for a camera when we are all around. Also i threw a photo in of little Alex on his Easter Egg hunt on Sunday that we organised for him, he had a blast never seen such a big smile on his face. And also a photo of my awsome lunch we had on sunday my all time fav BBQ and a nice alcho beverage.

Had a lovely weekend with my family and makes me miss them more when i see these pics because we always have such fund times together.

WEIGHTLOSS......

Well I haven't been doing to bad on this front and slowly slowly i will get there. 2 Weeks ago i went back to my doc to have a check up and also ask about a medication i had been reading up on about Metformin which is used by ladies with PCOS. My doctor advised that this would be a great idea and advised I start straight away. Now for alot of people they wouldnt have a clue what i ment when i said I had PCOS let alone starting a med called Metformin, so basically PCOS is a condition that effects my ovluation and Aunt Flow every month. I tend to produce more male hormones than female which makes me insulin resistant. So by taking Metformin I can reduce my insulin resistance and try and get back to normal with Aunt Flow comming to visit more often and on time.

Since starting the metformin i have noticed major changes in my body. Not feeling as bloated or hungry and have already lost 5 kilos since starting. While eating healthy as well i have noticed that i no longer get Heart burn every time i eat and I dont agree well to fatty foods or take aways any more so I dont eat them.

i have joined another forum on the Calorie King website which has me set up on a program to record my food per day along with excersise and weekly weigh in. So far im really enjoying it and getting alot of information.

After loosing weight being only 5 kilos so far I can already notice the change in my clothes, im finding clothes that i brought but where to small that now fit!!! And im taking more effort in the way i present myself, taking pride in the way i look( once apon a time i would not have given a shit)

Any ways overall things in my world are on the up and can say there is no way i want to head back the wrong way. I have decided that the scales are not everything and its the way i feel inside and what I put into my body that is the main thing, change in the scale is just a plus!!!

Stay tuned....

Sounds like things are going really well for you!!

Love the pics, looks like a good time was had by all.

I should take more care with my appearance. I have been really slack lately. I spend so much money on my hair then I tie it all back and never style it.... sad huh!

Congratulations on the weight loss. It seems that you're doing great :) I can still remember the feeling of being much more confident right after getting my tummy tuck! Seems like you have it too!
